My Poetry

My poetry comes from the heart and
reflects my journey as a woman through
the uncertainty of love; from passion to
heartache, hurt to healing and
powerlessness to empowerment
and finding the strength and courage
to love again.

My first poetry book, THORNS IN MY HEART ROSES IN MY SOUL is 104 pages.

About Me

I live in Santa Cruz with my rabbit, Domino, and I enjoy writing poetry, painting, yoga, walking on the beach, hiking and picking flowers. I studied art at the California College of the Arts in Oakland, California and received my BS in Psychology from California State University, Monterey Bay. I work in the field of mental health as a social worker with elder adults.
